Carrying the uncommon Sabino gene, Fleet Beat sure is an eyecatcher! His magnificent conformation, beautiful gallop and fantastic pedigree add to his charm as well.
Fleet Beat was sired by Silver-Moon Studfarm's very own SMS Paint Me A Winner, Group winning 2011 ABRB Champion Mature Stallion and earner of $1.25million+. He is a son of Sato®, currently the only palomino sabino Thoroughbred registered with the Jockey Club. He was by Puchilingui®, one of the foundation sires of sabino Thoroughbreds in North America. Sato was out of another odd colored horse - Springtime Girl®, a daughter of Milkie®, the first cremello Thoroughbred to be registerd wit the Jockey Club. Paint Me A Winner's dam was the beautiful mare Dressed To Dance®, chestnut sabino Thoroughbred. She was by Racey Remarque®, a stallion with the very rare combination of frame overo and sabino genes. His lines go back to Halo® and Hail To Reason®. Dressed To Dance was out of Dance Spot®, whose lines go back to Northern Dancer® and Bold Ruler®.
Fleet Beat is the first progeny of the G1 winning mare, Evening Jewel®. Evening Jewel was a fantastic racer, winning the California Breeders' Champion Stakes in her first start. She then continued to win Group 1 and Group 2 races frequently, accumulating earnings of $1,2million+. Evening Jewel's sire was Northern Afleet®,G2 winning stallion and sire of champion colt Afleet Alex®. He is one of the best sons of Champion 3yo Colt and 1987 Canadian HOTY, Afleet®, who has progeny earnings of over $125million! Afleet was sired by Mr. Prospector®, one of the most influential dirt track sires of all time. Northern Afleet's dam was Nuryette®, a daughter of the great Nureyev® (by influential sire Northern Dancer®). On her dam's side of the pedigree, Evening Jewel has Jewel Of The Night®, an unraced daughter of 2000 ROA HOTY Giant's Causeway®, sire of G1 winner Eskendereya® and many others. He's by the famous sire Storm Cat® and out of G2 winning mare Mariah's Storm®. Jewel Of The Night's dam was Jeweled Lady®, whose lines go back to Seattle Slew® and Alydar®.
Fleet Beat's pedigree is packed with legendary champion horses and superb sires and broodmares. That, plus the fact that Fleet Beat is a horse with courage and the will to win, make him a great racer and stud prospect.
